The "You have two cows..." meme is a handy shorthand way to explain almost any political or economic ideology.
Communism: You have two cows. The government takes them and sends you milk every so often.
Capitalism: You have two cows. You sell one and buy a bull.
Socialism: You have two cows. The government takes one and gives it to someone else who doesn't have any.
Anarchism: The cows are owned by everyone in general and nobody in particular. They are milked by anyone who wishes to do so. Their teats hurt.
Vegetarianism: You set your cows free, as it should be in nature. They refuse to leave your pasture, and still they need to be milked.
Canada: You have two cows. Vous avez deux vaches.
Democracy: You have two cows. An election is held, and the cows win.
