I've had an idea for an interesting bit of fiction bouncing around in my head for about a week, so I might as well write it down.
A science-fiction story told through oral interview snippets.
Each audio file would be about 3-5 minutes long, and self-contained. Each one would be a little piece of the larger story. One is a piece of a lecture about the ecology of the planet, another an interview with someone who knew one of the characters. A piece of poetry from the native culture, or a telling of a legend.
It's a perfect format for web serialization, for sure. Weekly/monthly updates, a wiki for fans to keep track of everything, all that jazz.
